  1. I want to post a quick comment for any viewers watching this that are thinking about buying from JLM. After a few recent questions, I contact the team there to understand delays.etc. They got back to me and seem heavily affected by the pandemic, both with relatives getting sick, and on the business side, lots of logistics/shipping challenges because of covid. If you're thinking of buying from them, I'd highly recommend contacting them before you purchase anything and asking them about turnaround time for your potential order. I've had lots of good experiences with the small team at JLM, but obviously right now they have some issues they're working through. Contact form here: http://japanloverme-store.com/contact-us/

  2. Many thanks for the information, I have found that ebay is the best ,but beware, sellers can charge what they want, i found one that i liked and it was for sale at £600, I waited a month or so, and a new seller was then selling it for £300,which I bought it for. (The same jacket)They can charge what like for them. So shop around, but beware sukajan can be like a drug, you get hooked, after 3 years i now have 20 plus, on the shipping side, all ebay seller's use track and trace ,I have never lost or been sold a bad one yet.

  3. Have you heard of the website Koisea? I’m thinking of buying a jacket from them, but I’m not super informed. I usually wear a large hoodie in U.S. sizing, and I was going to buy an XL jacket. I haven’t done measurements on myself but that was my early thought. Do you have any thoughts or pointers? I’m 6’ 185 lbs for reference

  4. So much good info! I bought a Sukajan jacket about 7 years ago from a company here in the US called Poler, but they never made another one like it. I tried to find some more jackets like it, but did not know the style was called Sukajan. This is incredible. I am planning a trip to Japan next year & will definitely search out sukajan shops for a souvenir. Seriously, thank you very much!

  5. Hey, I just wanted to let you know how good Mercari (JP site) is for finding sukajan jackets or any Japanese brand clothing. I just bought a 65,000 yen Satori jacket for 12,000 yen. The only downside is that everything is in japanese, but if you do some basic translating/googling, you can find pretty much any brand you want on the website. Shipping is like 2000 yen base and grows depending on weight

  6. Your guide was really helpful because I almost ended up buying an unbranded Chinese sukajan for like 200. Thankfully, I just bought a second hand sukajan from Japan off of ebay for 140. It retails on JLM for like 360 so it was a steal. Does it matter if the jacket is rayon vs polyester? I was surprised to see such an expensive jacket being 100% polyester while other cheaper jackets seem to be completely rayon. Also, does it matter if the jacket is made in China if the brand is Japanese? Here is the same jacket on JLM http://japanloverme-store.com/search-browse-by/miyabi-musubi-zenbu-vintage-japanese-japan-samurai-musha-sakura-cherry-blossoms-punk-rock-flower-floral-tattoo-art-embroidery-embroidered-bomber-sukajan-souvenir-jacket-size-3l/

  7. Hey man, do you by any chance know what jacket this is a bootleg of?

  8. Hey, I'm late to the party but I just wanted to chime in. You can also order a sukajan via White Rabbit Express, a company based in Japan who will order pretty much anything for you from there. You can choose any website or store you want, copy the URL and give them information about the item and they'll take care of the rest. Obviously that sounds sketchy, but I did a lot of research and saw nothing but good things about them. I just ordered a sukajan through them from a website I found for a shop who makes these jackets in Japan. It's a bit of a struggle navigating through the website in Japanese, but that's what Google translate is for! I highly suggest anyone who wants a sukajan or anything else from Japan to check them out, as you know you're getting the real deal!

  9. Bro amazing vid, extremely detailed. I have a question tho. I found a great deal on eBay for 150 my size of course. seller has amazing feedback and he has sold multiple in the past but I wanna know from you, do u think it’s legit? Heres the item SKU number from eBay – 362074793523

  10. I loved the video !!! And seems that u understand a lot about It, so could u help me please ???? I really want to make my own jacket but I can't find where to buy Just the jacket, without the patches, all the jackets seems to me made from a normal satin bomber jacket, so where can i buy It without the patches so i can put It by my own? Is There any site that sells It for a cheap price??? Thankkk youuu and ( Sorry for my bad english I don't spek It Very well), I tried my best to be understandable.
