i used to have normal-oily skin with all those little acne bumps. during lockdown, for some apparent reason, i had some nasty breakouts and my skin is now INCREDIBLY dry. i live in the uk, i specifically chose to buy two of the moisturizers and the moisterizing face wash and my skin is still drier than death valley. help!!

oh… I just bought the moisturizing facial wash yesterday….
I try not to use products from Unilever, as the last I heard about their animal testing.
For the most part, most of their ingredients used in the Simple line are okay and products very affordable.
I’ve actually been using this and I think I’ve been using it too often because every time I was my face with this it becomes dry and tight. But that’s because I have to wash my face for prayers. Is this happening for any one else or just me? Should I switch?

I used the ordinary a couple of times and my face broke up for two weeks straight. Then I changed to Simple and my face went all smooth. Still have the scars from the breakouts though 🙁

Have you tried the cleansing oil from them ?? Could you do an update on simple products! I love cleansing oils but where I live you find few drug stores offering cleansing oils at all and the few you find they are expensive and I feel the simple cleansing oil is great!

Tragic update on the Simple Micellar Gel Wash: it's currently discontinued. I don't know if it's just sold out because it gained popularity or because of this COVID thing, but you can't find it anywhere folks. 😔 Hopefully the moisturizing wash will work for me.

Ok so I had been using simple skincare for a few years and even when I still got my dry skin and red irration and soreness I still used it thinking it helped my skin and I never did
Don't know if it's just where I live (UK) but my skin absolutely hates Simple. I've used a bunch of their products but my skin reacted horribly to all of them. Their moisturiser caused instant breakouts overnight, same for the face wash I've used – which also massively stripped my skin and was way too harsh. Also their body washes just straight up didn't work very well. Seems like a good brand for everyone else but not me.
I have sensitive skin but yet simple makes my face swell and become incredibly irritated and red, safe to say I stopped using it!
Starting my skin care from today. As of now it is just face wash and moisturizer
Now I'm so happy because I'm busy using their moisteriser, and it works great for me.

ive been using simple for years (face washes mainly) and ive never noticed any of the products having a scent. this was the brand that made me step away from clean and clear and the other typical cleansers marketed towards teens and it made a noticeable difference for me. i do have sensitive skin so it was all the while better!! i do use the moisturizing face wash even though i have oily skin bc i never knew they had the micellar cleanser! i'll have to try it out !! great vid !

Simple destroyed my skin and irritated it so so bad it was burning and so red and I couldn’t fall asleep at night because of how much this irritated my skin.
I'm using micellar face wash and the green one and micellar water. Few ingredients, not too drying, non irritating, safe for fungal acne, no SLS (in UK formula) and dead cheap, what's not to like? Cleansers sit on my face for 10 seconds max so as long as they do the job I'm happy
